If not Capital City Christian Church, find another God-honoring church to attend for Easter, and invite a friend. Because, think about it — if a man predicts both his death and his resurrection, and then pulls it off, he’s worth following! We believe the death and resurrection of Jesus were the two most consequential events in history for every man, woman and child, everywhere, for all of time. And that’s what Easter is all about.

Did you know that inviting a family member, friend or co-worker is the best gift you can give someone you love? And, did you know that most people are willing to go to a church on Easter Sunday?

According to a poll by LifeWay research, more people attend church on Easter than any other Sunday of the year. And, according to Pew Research, Americans Google “church” around Easter more than any other time of the year.

Going even deeper, 67% of Americans say that a personal invitation from a family member would be very or somewhat effective in getting them to visit a church. And, 63% say that a personal invitation from a friend or neighbor would be very, or somewhat effective, in getting them to visit a church.

According to Thom Rainer, eight out of 10 people will say “yes” to a personal invite to church. It’s not just about you, it’s about those you care for, those you love. Listen, if Jesus did not rise from the dead, then it would be crazy to follow him. But, if he did rise from the dead, it is crazy not to. So, this Easter find a God-honoring church to attend with family.
