‘White Christmas’ to show at the Grand
TCM’s “White Christmas” will be shown at the Grand Theatre at 7 p.m. on Dec. 16. Celebrating its 70th Anniversary, in “White Christmas” two talented song and dance men (Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye) team up after the war to become one of the hottest acts in show business. One winter, they join forces with a sister act (Rosemary Clooney and Vera Ellen) and trek to Vermont for a white Christmas. The result is stuff dreams are made of. The movie is rated PG-13.

JD Shelburne to perform at the Grand
JD Shelburne will perform at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 27 at the Grand Theatre, 308 St. Clair St. The Kentucky native’s show will be acoustic. Shelburne’s last performance in Frankfort in the summer of 2023 brought a record-breaking crowd.

New Year’s Eve party at the Sand Trap
The Sand Trap Bar at Wild Turkey Trace Golf Course will host a New Year’s Eve Party from 9 p.m.-1:30 a.m. The Instigators will bring in the new year the right way with friends fun and dancing, a great selection of drinks and food. There will be a champagne toast.

With L.I.F.E. House for Animals’ “check me out” program, you have the opportunity to give one of the dog guests a fun few hours out of the shelter at no cost to you. No appointment is needed. “Check me out” program dates are 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, and 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18.

Elemental Yoga and Wellness will host a Yoga fir Equestrians Workshop from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 201 N. Main St., in Versailles.
