Bourbon 101: The Bourbon Basics
Bourbon 101: The Bourbon Basics will take place at 6 p.m. at the Bourbon Country Welcome Center, 1388 Bypass N. in Lawrenceburg. Discover the rich heritage and bold flavors of America’s only native spirit at our Bourbon 101 class at the Bourbon Country Welcome Center. Participants will dive into the fascinating history of bourbon, learning about its origins, production process, and the unique characteristics that set it apart. Then, experience a guided tasting of select bourbons, exploring the nuances of aroma, flavor and finish.

Yoga for Equestrians Workshop
Elemental Yoga and Wellness will host a Yoga fir Equestrians Workshop from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 201 N. Main St., in Versailles. Whether you are a rider, caretaker or just love horses, you will find benefit in this two-hour workshop. The off-season is a great time to improve your mobility, strength and mindfulness about movement patterns. The workshop will be taught by Carrie Davidson, Ed.D, Exercise Physiologist and Yoga Therapist, and co-hosted by Lisa Biederman-horse woman pro.

Agroforestry in Practice: Adding Perennials to the Farmscape Workshop
The Kentucky State University Research and Demonstration Farm will host Agroforestry in Practice: Adding Perennials to the Farmscape Workshop from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the farm located at 1525 Mills Lane. Native perennial plantings can reduce erosion, pest, weed and wind challenges; create pollinator and wildlife habitat, enhance farm aesthetics for farmers and agritourism and add product diversity to farms. This pre-conference workshop provides farm success stories, resources for native plant selection and details on technical and financial assistance available for on-farm implementation.
